hi pat yeah only thing is the worm is too worn too be re used and the thread where the arm is has been cross threaded so dont think i could re use the unit so ill have to buy a whole one does anyone have a super/power steering box for sale as id like to get it going soon

hi ive been looking for a steering box for my super major and seen a diesel major steering box i know the throttle rod isnt on the steering box but can i swap the casing over from my super steering box or will it not work ? thank you

hi nick yes it was on ebay took the starter off and tried to turn it over and it had seized :cry: but i dont think it is badly seized he said it ran when he parked it up 3 years ago so we will see its the drawbar/pickup hitch that i find odd and not sure if it will work, i havent had much chance to ...

they all work exept for the major which is a work in progress and the te20 tvo hasnt been run for a 'few' years my favourite is the dexta that is pulling the super dexta it never fails to start and everything is nice and tight on it i have a few videos of them on my youtube please check them out htt...

i purchased a fordson super dexta the other day as a winter project i think it is a new performance but i would like to confirm this i have some codes off the tractor the flange on the left side of the tractor near the fuel filter reads 02c919262 the engine reads 163270 the injector pump reads p4696...

i have an old logbook for my fordson super dexta 1964 where would i find this number on the tractor it says it is the chassis, frame or car number on the logbook - D925211

hi my dad has a bamford bl 30 small baler that we use behind the dexta and the trip arm that determines the size of the bale has worn so you cannot get decent bales only small ones does any one have one or is breaking one i think its the same on different models of the bamford balers the link shows ...

hi all ive just finished restoring a 1956 ferguson fe 35 grey gold but it does not have a registration number i know i can get a age related one but i have seen a logbook for sale on ebay for a 1956 ferguson fe 35 could i use this to register my tractor on the road ?

yeah i think that live drive was an option through the producution of the major up until 1964 but by then the advantages of the live drive was known how can you tell the difference in the gearbox beetween the live drive and non live drive or can you not as maybe someone had changed it to non live dr...

the top link bracket ? yeah thats still on it with the two pin holes

ah it is a super as it has the disk brakes and draft control and it has the super style front tomb stone it might have had a engine replacement at some point in its life

oh great thank you can you make anything out of the serial number for the engine ?

hi i went and had a look at the tractor today and found a few casting codes but i dont know if they make any sense
