Re: Greasable front wheel caps?
I bought a pair of similar caps from agriline and them fitted well to my -60 Dexta. These older Dextas haven't got any grease point in front bearings. Later Dextas has grease nipples in front bearing housings.

Re: Dexta -60 project
Only reason is that there was one RR axle available easily and with reasonable price. I think that it will last well, because this tractor is going to be used only in light works

Re: Dexta Roadless parts
Yes I also think that the chain version won't be very strong. That's why I asked for pictures from a pto piece, which is separated from tractor. But I think that nobody has pictures of it Google gives only pictures where this piece is assemblen in tractor..

Re: Dexta Roadless parts
Yes I know that in this case any information to get will be very hard  My intention is to make 4wd Dexta, one way or another  Everything is clear, except the power takeoff to front axle. May be that it is easiest to make it with chain, as all grip traction has done  If You ha...

Don't know the exact weight. Firewood in the picture is quite fresh, so there must be couple hundred kilos

Re: Dexta -60 project
Haven't posted for a while :) Sold the Super Major and bought a -76 IH 844 with broken crankshaft. Now the 844 is in working condition and yesterday bought a Dexta which have been little bit hot  All the panels and fenders are scrap, but the tractor itself seems to be relatively OK. Dismantle...

Re: Engine for Dexta
Hi Frank, This was very useful info, thanks! That would be the easiest way, if the mentioned 6cyl engines would be almost bolt on :) I think that the clutch or gearbox won't be a problem, because it would be only in "show" use  Does anyone know what Perkins is fitted to this Dexta? https://www...

Broadspeed, Great pics, thanks for posting! I'm interested to see you are using metal-framed IBCs (intermediate bulk container) for storing logs, I am too, guess the whole world must be! I store the loaded IBCs outside in a windy, south facing field to help the logs dry out, with plywood lids...

This is what I think what it should be. Anyone knows how thick the spring is? http://communities.zeelandnet.nl/data/armmajor/upload/fotos/ror%20seat%20spring.jpg This is the second spring. I think it will make the suspensions much harder. http://communities.zeelandnet.nl/data/armmajor/upload/fotos/...

Re: Dexta -60 project
Broadspeed, I've never seen anyone put heavy vertical chains on there tractor before. How do these help? To keep your tractor from lifting to it's maximum height? Those chains are for towing hitch lifting. See these pics: Linkage up http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i12/isolaatta/Dexta%20-60/IMG_00...
