if you do it get a plug for a 4 cylinder 35 or fergie 20 diesel, 3 cyl 35 threads are different to dexta.

i do some work for a contractor, one of his customers uses a leyland silage carting and he puts his tipping pipe on to the hydraulic brake system, it pulls him up!! bit dodgy following him till he gets the feel for it though :lol: :lol:

i once had a problem with one of my dextas that wouldn't rev above 1800 , i found out that the pre cleaner was to blame i opened up the fins with a screw driver a little and it now revs at 2250 :)

great pictures :D just noticed the major and dexta with no lights have what looks a live drive badge on the grill which doesn't ad up if it was 1958? unless its a dealer name badge or somthing else ??

dont get one from agriline i could have made a better one myself than the one that turned up :x it wasn't how it was pictured and to top it off it leaked and wont stop leaking i'll have to do what i should have done in the first place and make one :x :x

your serial number, reg number and who brought it new should all be logged it may be a good idea to contact the libary first to make sure they're there as a friend of mine asked to see them once and they'd been lent to a local news paper or something like that :D

it looks like a dexta one to me as it has 4 holes for the wheel weight, i think 19 inch fergie wheels have 3 weight holes. :)

thinking about it the one i had had an extra hole gas torched in it so it fit. all the others i've got are staight i think the bent ones are for the 000 series?
