Insurance and theft
For what it is worth, I recently had an IFor Williams livestock trailer stolen. From the poor cctv footage (it was at the limit of range and at night) it took 5 minutes to remove wheel clamp and hitch lock and take enough wall down to lift the gate chain over the post, hitch up and drive off. Anyone...

Re: fitting a front loader
Thanks all
I have finally got it sussed how it fits together
Refurbished rams are now in my possession
Just need to find time and decent weather to put it all together. However, it is now so wet that any further weight on my land is going to end in getting stuck !

Re: Perry bale grab - what is needed
Thanks Bob. That is pretty clear.
Doesn't seem too complicated . Currently I have an arrangement to work a log splitter, which might need to be altered in favour of the loader but I would need an additional hydraulic feed for the grab, as i understand it
Cheers

Perry bale grab - what is needed
Hi all. Too late for this year I fear, but what would I need to do to fit a perry bale grab onto the loader of my Dexta ? I have small bales and picking up a stack of 6 or 8 (?) would improve the longevity of my old and worn out back I haven't fitted the loader yet as I want to recon the rams first....

check chains too long ?
Hi again I wonder if you could assist please Super Dexta with kuboto 1.2 flail mower. Works fine other than has decided to jetison the off side pin from the three point linkage, despite having new lynch pins. Obviously I haven't noticed the lynch pin missing until too late and then the pin itself va...

Flail mower on Super Dexta
I have been using a kuboto 1.2m (4 ft in real money) flail mower on my Super Dexta, for cutting/topping rushes on my land. Is there a recommended speag / gearing for optimum efficiency ? I have found that 1st, low ratio seems to work well, as the rushes are thick and 2ft tall. Would folk concur with...

parts needed for axles seal replacement ?
I have oil leaking from the hub onto the inside of the wheel. The brakes are rubbish so I am pretty certain that the oil seal(s) are in need of replacement, along with the brake linings Other than brake shoes, inner and outer seals and (possibly) bearings, what else will I need ? Any gaskets ? The P...

Cheers Bob
I removed the cover plate and that seemed to "unlock" the levers.
Once I placed it - all was working nicely again
Panic over

I braked clutch in and attempted to change to a forward gear (low box) Gear lever now stuck in reverse and won't budge Any ideas please? HI My super dexta is reluctant to start at the moment. New battery, but the heater plug cable needs a new spade connector (easy to sort) and the knob doesn't click when pressed in on the injector pump. I was told that it is dependant on the pull stop mechanism somehow Any assistance on resetting the...

reluctant starter
My superdexta has become a reluctant starter, in that when I press the starter lever, there are clicks but no action. Moving the L/H lever has tended to prompt action but could well be co-incidence or a pointer to something else Any ideas please? I have searched on previous posts but not found anyth...
