Ford Ferguson 9NAN

I have a 1944 Ford Fergy and have owned it since the mid 8o's. When I restored it I painted it with paint from Old20 parts and it is a creamy grey. Large numbers of people have said it is the wrong colour. I am now about to do a re-paint and can anybody give me a definitive paint shade or name of a ...

Re: Instrument Panel Screws and Bolts

For beading if you get some black electrical cable and slit it down one side, then remove the wires it can then be pushed round the edges and it makes a good bead.

Ford Whitlock Digger

I have recently purchased a 1968/9 Ford Whitlock Digger on "G" reg to do some excavation work. Trying to find information on the unit, I have been told they were based on a Ford 5000, is this correct ?, as I want to purchase filters etc.

Had a fiddle with the bonnet and nose lastnight, managed to get one side to fit alot better however the opening side is still miles out! It'll have to do for the Great Eccleston Show this weekend and wait for Agriline to decide if they have a suitable replacement. RossM, The one thing none of us kn...

I had the same problem with my nosecone from Agriline, and ended up elongating the two mounting bolt holes at the bottom to get a fit. The badge supplied by them was very distorted and I ended up sending it back, as even if I had tried to get a fit , I feel there would have been too much tension and...

I have found in my 1961 parts manual that the radiator hose clips are flat types. Only the air cleaner pipes are shown as wire clips.

Went to Tractor World at Malvern today and had a good look around the badges. Some looked very poor, some a little better but still not as good as the original. Went to the Tractor Badges stand and found one copied from the original at more money. The badge was a lot heavier and had the original pin...

Old 20 Parts are good for Ford Fergy parts and if they don't have them will get them from their contacts in the States and have them sent over as part of a larger order saving on shipping coats.

Would think it could be worth contacting your local hydraulic fittings agent in Yellow Pages as they normally know where to get these items.

The same drawbar pin will fit both ! .
Were both engines manufactured under licence in the same factory with same BHP.

When I used to run milk tankers, we used to get a lot of jobs pumping water in to fill old buried fuel tanks. I even had passers by ringing up to enquire why we were storing milk in garage forecourts !!, was tempted to say you could travel further on milk.

Hiking Bear,

It could be worth looking for a wiper from an old truck or bus, as the cabs were mainly ash framed which was fairly thick, and old vehicles were still 12volt. Try an old HGV magazine for spares suppliers.
