Also I believe there is something wrong, I had a tractor with front loader for lumber with a chain for coupling the pump and I have never had any trouble.
Regarding the pump on the PTO, there are also with the tang in order to use the PTO, i can not find photos, however I think they are also you.

Color wheels

For some 'time I have a doubt, my Super Major is 1963 and that little paint can still be seen in the circles, you see that was orange, but I have seen some with gray circles, what is right color?
I'd like to make it like this (when I have time)

The thread is 3 / 4 "x 25 threads per inch, another problem was that on two lathes, there is this passage, passing from 24 to 26 :o The important thing is that he managed to do so, for the spring (I did not know the size) I used a spring a shock of a scooter

Thanks, even if the grinding has not been very fine, however you can improve  The most 'difficult was the thread that could not be measured, (I had to disassemble the lift) so I screwed a piece of aluminum in order to measure the thread diameter and pitch (with deadly force, I refer to this sy...

There may be two gear, maybe the change is being recorded and a few millimeters are woven two gears at once, is only a guess of course, you should try to remove the cover and see the change.

There were outfitters here in Italy that modify Fordson Major (and other brands) and there was Selene who mounted the double traction.
The headlights look like those of my own, but are not exactly equal :)
I do not know how many were sold in Italy, but in the 60s were common

I think I have the original engine, it says 4 cylinders, but in the closed part of the bonnet, I think there's a hydraulic pump and oil tank (I'm not very sure though)

Worked a lot, but the engine is running very well and also the change does not sound strange. Only has a small oil leak from the...
