Bless his little heart - give him a big pat on the back from us - we are proud of him :clap:

(and point out to the person reprimanding him that the bible states 'suffer little children' most teachers think this is a recognition of what they do, it's not, IT'S AN INSTRUCTION !

I have great trouble these days as having absorbed the local variations to the better known carols as sung by a local pair of folk singers, the Kipper Family, I find that as traditional favourites start up I am quite likely to start to sing 'Oh little town of Gimmingham' 'Oh Holly & Ivy when they are both full grown' or 'Arrest these merry gentlemen' - much to the disgust, surprise or amusement of the more tradtional God bothering folk about - can be found on their truly dreadful Xmas album unlawfully posted at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVy4k87C6Ts it perks up once you get past the boring bit by the vicar !
Best regards

You have to try so hard to succeed yet it seems to be effortless for politicians :scratchhead: seen the latest insanity which we may not Brexit soon enough to avoid ? having to INSURE SORNed vehicles :curse:

I restored stained glass in a previous life so don't worry about being bitten by vicars - I had the injection and so far it has worked :D

Sorry nurse I'm getting back into bed..............

Insanity doesn't start & end with brexital bureaucracy
have spent 9 hours in a classroom today learning how to tip tarmac on customers sites,
something I have spent the last 35 years doing {as well as messing with tractors}

Too true, there were the EU Standards or regulations then our Civil (?) service added another level of scent marking (as did all the other EU countries except those that ignored such things as applying to them)

I've a friend who has worked his entire life on motorway & major road blacktop laying who is about to retire early before it kills him, reckons these last ten years have taken more off what he has left through the stress of compliance with stupid stuff and the fear of the real risks still killing someone - I don't blame him, hope you are not in a similar situation :eyes:

Well yes I am in exactly the same frame of mind, health & safety is a wonderful thing
If it saves just one life or saves someone from getting hurt then it has done its job
But mostly it is used as a weapon against us by company bully boys & ladder climbers
as regards brexit none of the hogwash will go away it will remain as another tax on the working man

I am that mad now I am going for a blast down the A6 towards bakewell on a SORNED dexta as a one man protest
I MAY BE SOME TIME
