There were two main manufactures of these type of tractors based on the Major series, Roadless and County. County were equipped with normal tracks with pins and bushes, Roadless had tracks that were bolted together against hard rubber blocks. These required special tools when splitting the tracks as they were a bit like a giant spring and would fly apart with great force if split incorrectly.

Early Countys had slightly weak steering clutches because they were based on the brake shoe design but later models had multi plate steering clutches.

Both tractors were, like the Major range, good solid agricultural crawlers.
