New performance super major lift settings

Post by liam »

Hi everyone,

this is my first post. Would anyone be able to put up a picture of the lift cover and all its parts especially the draft control spring, plunger and all related parts. When I took off my top cover the plunger was missing as was the rod that should be connected to it. It is anyones guess what happened but I think it must have came loose and got caught up in a bull gear as I found two broken teeth when I drained the oil to clean the filter. I have a spare top cover from a blue and orange super but the plunger is to big where it slides into the top cover. I was thinking of getting it machined to fit but I will wait until I hear what you all think.
Thanks in advance, Liam

Welcome Aboard Matey. :D Looks like you have a bag full of troubles already and are in for some time consuming repairs if you have gear teeth in the drain oil. Lots of good folks here with good sound advice. :) Dandy Dave!
Have a Fordsonful day Folks!
