Foot plate catastrophe

Post by Ian »

So, not only have the foot plates rusted away on our tractor :o But the brackets underneath them have rusted. The one one the clutch side has entirely rusted away, there's virtually nothing left of it, and the brake side this much is left.

My question is, where can I get some new ones ? Or can anyone repair my old one ? I live in the UK if anyone knows. It's a real job to get in and out of the tractor with no footplates :o

they don't sell them ! They sell the actual footplates, but since my brackets underneath have rusted away I would have nothing to attach them to! I am after the brackets underneath them, the one the brake springs etc attach to.

You could give Ron Greet near Totnes in Devon a try as he breaks many tractors. Put details in your search engine for contact numbers.
