In the 1950's Chad Valley manufactured this 1/16 scale diecast model of the (petrol engined) Fordson DDN Major. Featuring clockwork motor in rear wheel, working 3 point hitch, accurate steering and opening bonnets.
This one was mounted on a wooden plinth with metal badge "with the compliments of the Ford Motor Co Ltd". This model was given to me as part of the archive collection owned by Reginald Tildesley Ltd who were one of the largest Ford/Fordson dealers in England.
