Headlamps in grill

Post by Pascal »

Hi guys,

For my 6 cylinder, I would like to mount the headlamps in the grill instead of both sides of the nose cone.
Does anybody has a picture of the mounting plate, to put the headlamps on?

Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Pascal

Fordson's don't leak oil, they are just marking their territory.

Hi Pete,

That's exactly what I mean. :D Thank you!
It's a pity, they don't sent overseas.. :(

Is one bracket big enough to fit both headlamps?
Best regards,
Pascal

Pascal if you don't want to make them why not email the seller and explain the situation. If not then perhaps one of us in UK can buy and send them to you. It would be less complicated to deal direct.

Can these help? http://www.vintagetractorspares.co.uk/v ... _major.pdf

That's a good idea, Pete. Thanks!

Do you know if I need one or two?
Does anybody has a picture of a bracket, that is mounted on a tractor?

They *should* line up with the cowl to tombstone bolt holes.

Hi
I think you might need to change the lights as well if you have the original fordson or power Major ones. super major lights that fit inside the grill are not as deep in the back to give clearance on the radiator and have diferent mounting brackets to alter the angle of the light and I am not sure if the old light will fit in the cut out in the super major style grills that you will also need.
