To the administrators, thanks for allowing me to sign on. I have been reading all the posts and have found them very benifical. I am amazed of the knowlege and experiance that you share with the rest of the Fordson world, it is greatly appreciated.
I own two Fordson Majors, 1953/57 engine and a 1963 super. Both were purchased as non running. Finished the 53 about 10 years ago with a rebuild on the replacement 57 block and overhaul on the rest of the tractor. It is a very strong tractor and starts in the coldest weatherabout 18 F on the first revolution when using the excess fuel. Finishing the 63 now with a engine rebuild and some paint.
I am a retired Machinist/Mechanic
Would like to post a couple pictures when I learn how. Will try to locate the profile page and hope to find the instructions on attaching a signature.
Thanks in Virginia USA
