This loader is quite strange, there is label - manufacturer H. Meisner.Jensen Copenhagen.

Hi
I'm not familiar with fordson yet. Is this power steering factory installed? Not conversion kit?
Front axel seems to be stronger one any how.

Markus,

Welcome.
This is one heavy loader. The power steering is original, but as far as I know it's always an afther market option. Could you shine a light about the front axle?
Kind regards, Henk

Hi

I downloaded more photos of front axel and loader. The link is in first post.

I found from web that company H.Meisner-Jensen has equipped fire trucks and this is only information what I founded.
Is here fellow from Denmark? Hopefully they know more of company

One guy from Finnish Fordson club forum throw an idea- propably it has been a tractor for fire department purpose. Big loader, cylinder behind far a way from heat, heat shield for driver etc..?? who knows?

All information are welcome

I also noticed the heavy duty front axle. Could be special for fire work. Built very strong with bigger and stronger wheels than standard . Dandy Dave!

Dave,
That won't make sence with the hydraulic hoses at the power steering.
Kind regards, Henk

When you see how the PS Cylinder is made, and works, the sense of simplistic design will come to you. The pump is mounted on the tractor and circlates the oil. The valve that controls the oil flow is in the cylinder. When you steer, the valve moves and opens ports in that direction. Also has the effect to keep the wheels in the direction you have them at when moving over the ground. If the wheels meet resistance and try to steer from your setting, the pump and valves counteract the force. I can drive my Power Major though a plowed furrow with only a slight counter pressure felt at the wheel. Tractors without power steering you have to hang on for dear life in the same situation and keep your thumbs out of the way least they be broken. Dandy Dave!

I saw it already, but do you know is there done some acquisition that meisner-jensen has bought or somekind that? Maybe by A.Schiller company?
They web pages not tell about it.

Is this loader type well know in Denmark? It's very hard to find information either photos...

Hi
I not received more information of this type loader.

Anyhow I gave first aid for tractor during Xmas holiday like cleaning fuel tank+ lines, changed fuel filter, checked a timing of fuel injection pump and also square shaft movements (was stuck), dumping valve rubber, chanche motor oil etc.

Then I made first start and it's running better that I expected. :buddies:

Here are few videos, of a start and loader tests.

The motor really sounds good.  . Now you need some weight on the back end. We use to use a 55 galllon oil drum and fill it with concrete for the farm tractors we had that were light to the rear. Also, Tire chains would help. That is a real nice self leveling loader. :D Dandy Dave!

I think your loader is made by august schiller and then sold by meisner and jensen, they are well known but there isnt much info about them :? You could try post a message to the article, the guy who wrote it is a expert in old loaders
