Hey chaps,
Ive got a couple of questions...
Firstly, how loong is the stop cable for the Fordson Major? As there seems to be a few different sizes out there.
Also, the fuel pump cut off lever, should the excess fuel automatically come back to normally running, or do I need the stop cable there to give it a slight pull. The lever itself is a tiny bit stiff, but I would of thought it should be ok. Just to let you know, when it comes to fuel pumps, I have very little clue
Thanks
Billy

Re: stop cable and pump!
You can make the stop cable at the right lenght yourself.
The cable need pushing in to restart. The lever of on the pump should turn easy as it is also the coldstart and it should come back in it's normal stand as soon as the engine starts.

oh right...
currently I have no stop cable on the pump...and the lever is always on the full fuel (coldstarting). it doesn't come back unless I manually push the lever. is there something wrong with the pump??
