Hello there

1) If this engine is in a tractor is there a number stamped on the bell housing
flange immediately behind the starter motor on the left side of the engine?
If so what is it?

2) Looking at the cylinder head from the left side are the ports for the inlet
and exhaust manifolds in line with each other or are the inlet ports
(and hence the inlet manifold) higher than the exhaust ports and exhaust
manifold?

3) Assuming this is an engine with a vacuum governed injection pump, looking
at the cover plate on the injection pump is it fixed with 4 bolts or 8 bolts?
Is the number cast on the cover plate SPE 4A 70S or SPE 4A 75S ??
