No more LiveDrive?

Post by SvendH »

Hi folks!
Not so happy new year  The local parts supplyer (here in Denmark) informes me that he can no longer source replacement discs for 2-plate clutches, only singles are still available! so its down to cannabalisem then here in Denmark or what?
And on top of this the engine (orange wheel super) leaks a lot from the rear crankshaft oilseal, is it possible to replace it while the tractor is opened up at the bellhousing for clutch :?: replacement or must the engine be striped?
A sad day it is as the old girl faces the breakers Hammer

Yours Sincearly Svend

Hi,

Parts should be readily available, even complete new live drive clutches (if you won the lottery). Try this link for example, https://histoparts.com/en/webshop/tract ... lutch.html There are many more suppliers with these or comparable parts.

Leaking engine crankshaft seal is easily replaced. Undo the flywheel, (take care, very heavy) and you'll find the seal.

Hi,

No thanks. It's a pleasure.

Get a manual and your calipers out and seth the finger height. Is doable. Did it a couple of times with succes.
