Generator gone through by rebiuld shop. Do I need to Flash

Post by Big Jim »

Howdy to all Fordson Gurus.
Just got my generator back from the rebiuld shop and was wondering to I have to "flash" it and if so how? They said it was in good shape other then needing a bearing and the brushes were getting short. So got them to put in two bearings and the brushes. Thanks all for your advice.

Any shop worth dealing with ought to ensure output is OK by running up on a test rig after replacing bearings and brushes, refit and try it, you can always flash it in situ if needed
