New to group - hello

Post by Willl »

Hello all,

Thanks for allowing me access to the forum. I have been reading lots of posts for a long time on this forum and, now I have bought a 63 super major, I thought it was a good time to actually join.

Thankfully I have no issues thus far, I'm in the middle of doing fluids, brakes, tyres etc but hopefully will be done soon and I'll be able to post some pictures.

Regards
Will

Welcome to the FTP forum.
I hope you only will have to write to help others. That means your Super will be going strong.
Kind regards, Henk

Thanks very much, I'm between Chester and Liverpool - Wirral to be precise.

Two large tyres are arriving tomorrow! Very exciting, could be a battle :D

Take care with your tyre irons, some of the later rims are as soft as butter and will dinge and bend badly if you are unfortunate enough to have one, plenty of soap helps.........
Best regards

Thanks for the advice, the tyres are here but I haven't summoned the strength to do it yet :D , I'll report back when (hopefully) completed
