Is this battery tray available new anywhere?

if someone has an old tray and clamp that is complete, please let me know.

The original plate that sits under the battery can be had 2nd hand if you're lucky - could try Malcolm Hipperson. I don't know of anywhere to get an original clamp other than make your own eg as per Gerald's earlier post. Stefan also made one.

I think I'll get a plastic tray, eg as per Gerald's post: There is a small battery box on the Towsure web site, internal measurements 190 x190 x 285 long, cost about £12.00 which looks a perfect size. Then I'll just use a couple of webbing straps right around the battery and base plate, which seems to be a simple and effective hold-down that I've seen on other Dextas.
