Another New Kid on the Block
Another New Kid on the Block
We are busy getting things sorted for our trip starting tomorrow night. Yes its Meddo time again!! Only this time we are going via Henk and delivering him a plough for his Major.
Whilst we are loading I get a message from my friend down the road to come and see what he has found. This is the man with a fleet of Dextas from 1958 to 1964 including a rare Roadless Super Dexta. He also found a pre Ford Force 4000 a few months back that was totally original with only 1600 hours on the clock from new.
I had a few minutes spare time so I drove down to his yard and there in the middle of it was a beautiful grey wheeled Dexta complete in every way including plough light. He bought her at the Cambridge Sale on Monday. She is absolutely perfect with 5600 hours on the clock. Paint work has the usual patina but is solid all round. She came from a shed in Scandinavia.
Oh, I should have mentioned, she is another petrol Dexta. Scarning is becoming the Petrol Dexta capital of England,

Brian,
[foolish talking mode on]
Take the tractor to meddo and show it. I'll leave a tractor home so you can show it on my subscription.
[foolish talking mode off]
Sounds very good. Start getting really curious for some photo's now.
Best regards
Emiel

Seat was removed as she had a slight leak on the Aux Service chest that was removed and repaired. I got the picture before it was put back on.
If he wants to sell it, you will all have to form a queue behind me!
