Camshaft End Plug

Post by Jerry Coles »

Hi Folk
I'm looking for the Camshaft end plug (opposite end to the gear wheel) which closes off the camshaft end.
It's item 47 on the Cylinder block section 1 illustration.
I guess it's a standard item but who could supply one?
Agriline don't stock it so any suggestions gratefully received.

If the CNH boys can't help try the M-F boys. (Wish I had not said that, I will now have to go and disinfect my fingers).

Hi all
Measured the dia of the hole, measured again and again......and again and imperial its 1.84" and metric its 46.5mm which are both non standard dimensions. Went onto Google and lo and behold - Core plugs at 46.5mm!!!
If you ever want core plugs try http://www.southwalesprops.co.uk/.
Not cheap but I ordered them yesterday 4pm and delivered today 11.00!
