Metal Thickness

Does anyone know the thickness of the metal sheet used in rear mudguards?
1961 Dexta, 1957 FE35 and 1966 Eicher ES101 (of which im always looking for spares).

Hi isuppose it depends on the type and make, but about 2/3mm, the heavier the better, as long as you can work with the metal, itake its the square type as these would be easier to make. Gerry
