Lift Arms Removal

Post by hiking bear »

When removing lift arms do they have to be marked in line with the splines before removing or is there a master spline? Also ive undone the retaing bolt and washer and the arms dont want to slide off. Am i missing something or do they need a puller?

You'll need a puller, penetrating oil, heat, and a lots and lots of patience.

When all else fails, get a bigger hammer

No need to mark them, there is a master spline. Mine just slipped of with a little hammer banging, so apparently that depends very much on the machine.
