Arms wont lift

Arms wont lift

The arms on the back of my dexta will only lift if i push forward on the top link spring with yolk .This is the same with quadtrol lever in both positions . Also the spring has about about 10mm of play should i tighten it

Your internal linkage is out of adjustment and probably your position control pin is worn.

You need to remove the lift and give it an overhaul.

Go to the Wiki from either the home page or Misc Topics, "fordsontractorpages" and "dotty" are the codes to get on to it. There is a piece on setting the lift.

ask any questions you like but also do a search, there are loads of posts on here with the same faults.

I have the same problem on my 1959 dexta. I`ll head to the wiki now in the hope i will find a cure for her.
