Oil filter number

Post by Mark »

Hey guys, I bought the spin on motor oil conversion kit for my Dexta a few years ago when I did my restoration of my Dexta. I have 50 hours on my oil and I want to change it. It came with a filter called "Coopers Z58."
Does any one know the number of a Fram or another name brand filter that would work instead of the Coopers?
Thanks

Hi Mark,i have bought the spin-on kit too.
But mine came with the Cooper Z48
This can be replaced with Fiaam FT4876.

Filtersizes: Length 150mm
Width 76mm

Thanks Rob,
Mine says Z48 like yours, I guess I had a senior moment. I'll call in the morning and see if they have the Fram FT4876 in stock, if not I'll order a couple.
Thanks again.

Mark,it's not Fram,it's Fiaam.

I did some more searching,as these are not available in Holland.

This is what i found:

I'll give them a try too.

Plus there's a crossreferencenumber for a Fram, should you prefer that.

Rob,
I took the Fiaam number to my automotive parts place and they crossed the numbers and found a Purolator filter that will work. It's supposed to be in today.
When I seen you had spelled it Fiaam, I just thought you meant Fram :scratchhead: I got it worked out anyway.
Thanks again

Is the spin on conversion readily available?

I bought mine at a Sparex dealer in Pleasanthill, Kentucky. Any Sparex dealer should have it. It's now an original for our tractors, but it is so much easier and in my opinion a better oil filter.
