Dexta paint

Do I need special paint for the dexta? I mean is there special paint for tractors? With the compagny Historsche Part Service I can buy blue accoring to RAL 5015 and they have special Fordson Dexta blue paint! Is any one now what difference is and what as I buy with paint shop? Please I need advice!

Dextas were the same colour as Majors, Empire Blue. Then, with the introduction of the New Performance range, they both went to a slightly lighter blue colour. So there was no special Dexta Blue.

Assuming your Dexta is an earlier model painted in Empire Blue with orange wheels, and not a New Perfrmance Dexta, these are the New Holland paint codes:

Fordson "Empire Blue"....NH pn: 87295334
Orange...........................NH pn: 87295310
Grey Primer.....................NH pn: 87295339
Thinner...........................NH pn: 87295377

These colours are said to be a close match to the original colours.
