petrol bonnet

Post by pjjms »

An interesting photo of another petrol. Looks like the join in the bonnet is just forward of the rear hinge. Brian, were some built like this or do you think this a built up replacement?

I would suspect that is a replacement bonnet, the join seems to be made with rivets or bolts. It also looks like a home made battery box/support.

Looks nice though, Have we got the numbers? :D

unfortunitly they have made the same mistake.

Body ENFU 957E7005 T3 3611

Under Seat T4 3E24

Axle housing 057E4015BT4 36248

I'm not sure any of that is of use, even for dating.

Thanks for that, she looks like a May 1963, I would think they have mis-read the "E" for a 6. I will add it in using that criteria.
