It looks pretty fast! It would have been better if he wouldn't have hacked the hole in the hood for the radiator. I like hot rods, but only if they're done neatly.

What engine do you suppose that is - says it's a Ford Granada V6 :?:

We had the V6 in a Ford Cortina Estate. It would smoke the tyres if you hit the throttle hard at around 50 mph. It was a 2.8l and really had too much power. It was a German Ford engine but it had a self destruct button. :shock:

We sold it to a friend who ran it for a couple of years when suddenly the oil light came on with no warning. The oil pump drive sheared and by the time the car got to the side of the road, the engine was toast. It seems that a lot failed like that.

We also had a 1.8TD Fiesta that was a close second in the smoking tyre stakes.
