Aux Service plate

Post by niallsdexta »

Hello Again,

is there a gasket between the aux. service plate and the top cover, when i removed my service plate for the first time there was a gasket there and i reused it as i could not get a new one anywhere i looked.
So should there be one there, and should i use some of the gasket in tube type stuff on it?

Thanks Niall

Leave it clean, Do NOT use instant gasket. If that gets into the system it will give you loads of problems.

I think this could be my problem now, as i put a small bead around the outside of the plate before reassembly and i think it may be preventing the Orings do their job.
