need a simms injector pump for a 63 super dexta

Post by doug grob »

Can anyone steer me towards a proper injector pump for a '63 Super Dexta at a reasonable price?
I sure hate to scrap this tractor just because of a missing injector pump.
Thanks all of you!!

I would check E-Bay periodically, they turn up there from time to time.

Link below is a list of salvage yards I found on the 'net.

'Reasonable' price is in the eyes of the (be)holder  ,
I've never seen a 'cheap' working injector pump , but you never know.

thanks everyone, still looking

Thanks everyone. I did find one, but it was $1600+ shipping. Since this Super Dexta has a weld from low antifreeze from a Montana winter and I have never heard it run, that just seems too much. I could have bought a CAV that fit a 3 cylinder Perkins running a Ford Industrial 4500, but I figured it just would not work. So, I am just looking.
