looking to buy a snowblower for my dexta. The one I am interested in (Westbjörns snöfräsar) can be driven by the PTO (K-axel) or by a 'hydraulmotor'. The hydraulic motor needs 40L/min and 'double working outlets.' I only see one outlet under my seat by the left side, pointing to the back. Why would a snowplow need 'double working' outlets? Its not like I want to run it in reverse...
So that question, but any comments on snowblowers in general would be appreciated.

You need a return for your hydraulic oil once it has turned the blower motor.

Not even close to 40 l/min - book says 15. And the power is probably under 10 hp at the hydraulics, so your snowblower
has to be powered by the PTO. The hydraulic blower must be for mounting at a front loader or similar. My Dexta shot in the winter 75/76 when we had a lot of snow..... Snowing almost all the time for 7 weeks

Nice pic of your Dexta.Erik B wrote:Not even close to 40 l/min - book says 15.
Yes The Fordson Dexta Facts on this website gives 3.68G (16.7L)/min at 1550rpm.
But the Master Brian says Dexta gives nearly 5 gal per min at 2200 psi according to the Ford books. That is around 25 litres per minute. Maybe this is at full revs?
But either way, nowhere near 40l/min.
