back in august 2011 i baught my 1960 fordson standard dexta. i wanted a tractor at the time becuase i realised i had a hidden talent at vintage ploughing. i had been using my granfathers ford major 4000 preforce with a bamford 3 furrow plough. but this was getting to the point were diesil was going out of fashion with all the traveling. so when i baught the dexta i was planning on restoring it which i still am.
my tractor will be used for splitting logs, ploughing, ridging, spring tine cultivating, baling, trailer work, muck spreading and fert spreading.
ive only got a few more bits and pieces to do then its ready for the spray gun ! so heres some pics of the restoration.
