While I am down waiting for the axle nut that I ordered, I decided to check the fuel filter. My tractor has the duel filter, and it has an occasional drip. When I removed the plastic bowl I discovered that it has a small crack. If I can find a new one I will replace the bowl, for now I have a dab of silicone gasket sealant on the outside of the bowl.
I would like to replace the filter element, but google has not turned up a supplier. On the housing is stamped: element ccs 11893. This is a Fram part number I think. At least, the housing says Fram. Does anyone know of a crossover part number, or where I can get this filter?
Note that this is the pre-filter on the starter side, not the main filter on the fuel injection pump side.
