Hi All,
Does anyone know what thread the fuel tank mounting screws are on a dexta? I think they are 7/16" UNC!

Re: Dexta fuel tank
Hi
My 1962 Dexta has studs screwed into the 3 holes in the bottom of the fuel tank. It is 7/16 inch UNC going into the fuel tank and 7/16 inch UNF at the other end of the stud, to allow a nut and washer to be screwed on to fix it down to the tank mountings. It makes it a lot easier to locate the fuel tank and the clearance between the top of the lower dash and the rear mounting allows you to get the nut on, rather than having to remove it (the lower dash) to get a screw in.
