no the ford modern type seat, it is the type with the damper rod in the
back for suspension , it comes with a plate which screws onto tractor the seat then
slides into this, it can be adjusted foward or backwards to suit driver,
agriline do them as the ford 000s seris seat

Deliberated long and hard over a seat.

Eventually decided on an original (repro) style one. Not the cheapest option by far. But has advantage that it will tip up, good as I quite like driving standing up - easier to watch for rocks when topping etc. Also runs the rain off!

Do you fancy arms or not? Remember to check height etc so you can reach the peddles.

Let us know what you decide

Careful your lift arms don't foull the seat pan otherwise you get a slight lift when the are fully up!!

the current seat gets very close to the lift arms if slid back too far on the bolts

agri say they don't recommend it but it should fit , number 6002 .
think im gonna try it.

Hi Tom lad, my tipper pipe is coming from the front and round the side, so hopefully it should be ok. Looking forward to see how yours fits

sorry guys, got fed up waiting. Ordered same seat from Capital Seating, model no. CS01 it's the black one. Price £45.50 plus vat, no charge for delivery.
Went to fit it today, just as well my tipper pipe is flexy, otherwise I might not have made it. Had to remove the plate which holds the tipper pipe in place
as well. Other problem is the height, I honestly think it's far too high , have I boobed ? have not driven it yet that will tell the tale

sorry sirs been busy
not fitted seat yet

wanted to try the 65 this time , the tyre were bad perished , nearer scrap , so I don't use it that much ,and the tin work looks rough.
took the plunge and fitted a full new set of tyres .
good move , I basically prefer driving it to the s dexta , dare I swear like that on this forum  .
I like both tractors neither is going anywhere .
I'm 6 ' 7 " with size 14 riggers , getting on off the dexta if tight / far more room on the bigger tractor .
not a far comparison cuz they aint the same are they
both will be used around the fishery .
and I guess as I cant fix the bobbing hydraulics on the dexta that don't help .my match plough is heavy .

finally fitted the new seat

it needed a 6 mm plate under it to clear the tipper pipe

some have commented it looks odd...

I like it , the seat is further back so better for me , makes tractor much nicer , and the springing is good also .
I'm happy with it .

Thanks for reporting back.

I've still got my original (repro) seat. Seems OK. Would be interesting to try a sprung seat for comparison as some of our fields are pretty bumpy.
