Hello,,

On my 1962 dexta, when the lever is pressed for the starter motor, it just clunks and doesn't turn over. Wonder if anyone has a solution? Thanks Sam

Is the battery good and well charged?
Is the solonoid working?
If both yes, then time to start looking at the motor, eg brushes...

I've stripped the starter motor apart, gave it a good clean (messy job). All back together and seems to be working now. Turns over a lot better aswell.
