silver dexta ?

any one know if there was dextas that were painted silver ? and if so why

Could have been painted silver for a show like Smithfield or the Highland Show but other than that, no.

A friend of mine who has just passed away, under-coated his tractor with a black undercoat, he was quite impressed with the look and said the orange wheels really set it off. Did not see any pictures though.

thanks there's one on ebay that looks like is had paint splashed on it so i asked and the guy said the previous owner had painted it silver but had no idea why eBay item number:121924721688

was hoping it was a rare one

Poor little tractor to be abused like that. :cry: Its either a 1958 or 1959 I would suspect. He has been playing with the wiring by the look of it.
