G'day all.
I have recently bought a 1958 dexta which i am rebuilding. I have removed the injectors and as expected have to replace the nozzles. However the nozzle retaining nuts are badly worn and have very little lip left to seat on the nozzle. All local diesel repair shops have no stock. MF 35 nuts fit but are to short and will crush the nozzle before nipping up.Does anyone know where i can obtain these nuts? Can i substitute a currently available nut or even a complete injector? If so what do i need?
thanks phil.
dexta injectors
Re: dexta injectors
Exchange service injectors for a Dexta in the ads in August "Tractor and Machinery". There is an advert for injection pumps for all makes of tractor and injectors for Dexta and Majors.
Fordson Tractor Pages, now officially linked to: Fordson Tractor Club of Australia, Ford and Fordson Association and Blue Force.
