Hi, I'm trying to replace my seals in my rear axle. I have pulled the axle and remove the locking nut at the hub. To remove the locking nut I had to break off the top ring of the nut that has the nylon or rubber ring in it. The replacement nuts that I've seen do not have this on top of the nut. Do I need this nut or can I use a normal nut with Loctite? Thanks for any help Brent

Have you tried one from a Massey 35? Same nut, Nylox type, but loctite should be fine.
