Misfire

What would cause a misfire upon startup some times, leaking atomizer valve, injector nozzle leaking fuel into cylinder, it runs for a few seconds burns fuel off, a lot of smoke then runs OK? Any ideas? Broken valve spring? Have not pulled valve cover yet? And that is just sometimes at random! Any

Injectors or any of the things you mentioned. Also cooler weather will cause it.

Check to see if you have a small tap on the primer line to the manifold heater. This should be turned off until you use the heater and primer.

No cut off tap on atomizer valve I think I an going to put one on.

It was gummy fuel they do not make it to last as long, high price but cheap made.
