Dexta stopped dead.... injector pump?..

Hi all

My Dexta was running ok then it just stopped while idling, I thought perhaps out of fuel, but lift pump was ok (checked via bleed screw)

I released number 1 injector, but no fuel spurting, there had been a knock knock, or perhaps more a slap slap near the front of the engine, but now i’m Suspecting something in the injector pump may have failed.

Welcome any thoughts or advise you can offer????

Hi all

I thought i’d share findings fyi

The middle injector pipe wasn’t pumping, on removing the injector pump covr the middle cam follwer is wedged open!!

Removing fuel lift pump shows scoring in the central inj pump lobe!!!

Looks expensive so i think i now have toremove inj pump for better inspection!
