Hello just wandering what are the different ideas about for doing it, like:

-any pictures of the new kit available fitted on a tractor?

-any pictures of how county did it for the industrial Dexta's?

-any pictures of some homemade kits?

Want something that will keep the hand throttle seperate, have been thinking of modifying a mf 35/135 kit to work but not gone any further with it and now seen a kit on ebay for a dexta that replaces the whole throttle system but not sure how it works

This is the foot throttle I made for my Leyland 344, which didn't come with one (and a 'proper' Leyland one doesn't have much travel anyway, so it's difficult to keep a constant speed unless it's flat-out). At the time (1987) it was a kind of experiment, but it worked so well I have never altered it. It is made from a Mk2 Escort pedal, cut-up and re-welded, with an Escort cable. It helped that the hand-throttle also has a cable, so I was able to fit the 2 cables in parallel at the pump end. The Escort cable broke recently, but I reckon it has lasted well!

Having the pedal like this means you can use the diff-lock and throttle at the same time. It might look like there is interference with the brake pedals, but I assure you there isn't. The throttle pedal has about 3"/75mm of travel.

I'll go take another photo, this one doesn't actually show the cable..

Just found this, it looks well engineered and I wouldn't bother to make one myself when this is only £50: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORDSON-MAJO ... 0011.m1850

Yes I know it's for Majors.. but the Dexta linkage can't be so different?
