just thought i would share this to help with tappet setting
just seen it in tractor mag, for anyone who has set tappets
it is very fiddley , well if you take a peice of flat and mark
and cut in line with the cam followers 1/2 inch opening
this will lock the followers and make it easyer to adjust
tapppets , it leaves only needing two spanners,
novel idea :D

Hi Sky Blue, thank you for the article sounds very helpful. If the article does not have a copyright, can you possibly post a copy of the article or the name of the tractor magazine. Thanks Mervyn.

Thank you very much Sky Blue, much appreciated. I will see if I can find that mag here in South Africa, which I have my reservation. Fortunately I have my son in law coming out to visit us at the end of the month, I will ask him to try and locate the mag over in the UK.
Kind regards
Mervyn Spencer.

Hi Mervyn

If unobtainable in SA back issues can usually be obtained from the publishers

https://shop.kelsey.co.uk/

Click on the title bar where it says Back Issues - your SIL ought to be able to get you one without too much trouble

Hi Oehrick,
Thank you for your advice and link. Cut a long story short my Son in Law did contact Kelsey direct this morning and was informed that the magazine was out of production and he should try eBay.UK. Fortunately they still had copies so was able to order a copy which he will bring over to me at the end of the month. :D .
Just been onto Kelsey site(curiosity killed the cat) and noticed a big "Out of Stock" label, so they must have had a demand for the mag after Sky Blue's post.

Kind regards
Mervyn Spencer.
