Hello!

Post by LarsS »

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, I am Lars, 26 years old and living in the north-west of the Netherlands.

We have 3 ford (son) tractors,
-Fordson dexta
-Ford 5600
-Ford 8240

The dexta is from 1962 on the farm, but sold around 1960, and bought back around 1980, unfortunately with a broken engine, a motor of a super dexta is then purchased.

We still use the dexta, which is equipped with a detachable front linkage (also fits on the 5600) for jobs such as hoeing, spreading slug pellets, and all common minor jobs.

Some pictures.

Hi Lars, welcome and congratulations on your well kept Dexta, great pictures. I see you have employed a very good operator, just love, food and water, no striking etc.
Your field of cabbages looks like it will be a good crop in a few weeks time.

Nice pics Lars. Great to see a Dexta still working as nature intended and that front likage looks quite unique. Welcome to the forum from southern Tasmania, Australia
