My superdexta has become a reluctant starter, in that when I press the starter lever, there are clicks but no action.

Moving the L/H lever has tended to prompt action but could well be co-incidence or a pointer to something else

Any ideas please?

I have searched on previous posts but not found anything specific.

Before getting too deep into component faults check all the heavy cable connections, dismantling and cleaning if necessary. This applies to live and earth.

check the battery voltage
try bypassing the solenoid, if it works it's either the solenoid (always the case when I've had clicking) or a bad connection
check cable continuity battery to solenoid and solenoid to battery using a multimeter
