new thermostat

Post by terry274 »

I installed a new thermostat in my Super Dexta today. The thermostat came from TISCO.
On the outside of the plastic package were the words: "Made in " . No country listed.
On a piece of paper in the package: "Made in Turkey"
On the thermostat itself: "Germany"

The gasket that came with it did not fit well at all.

I found the same problem with the thermostat gasket - the bolt holes would not line up as they were not far enough apart- It appears that earlier Dextas had a smaller flange with the mounting holes closer together so possibly the gaskets are all made to the earlier Dexta design

I have same problem. Fortunately I've just bought a set of wad punches and gasket paper.
All the best,

Terry274,
It sure seems that you didn't get what you ordered. That piece of paper says the package contained a Termostat
