Been stood many years she,s a 1975 reg hopefully back running at wk end . my question is she has 3 forward gears in low box and 3 in high box, but she has 2 reverse gears in both low and high box? is it poss to convert her to a standard 4000 gear box she.s only done 300hrs and we,d like to use her a bit more as a agri tractor any help gratefully recived thanks

Hi,
The 3550 was based on the 3000 with a six speed box with a reverse in both ratios. The 4000 was used in the 4550.
Never seen two reverse gears in both ratios.
