Ford 3000 Selecto-Speed
I have a Ford 3000 Selecto-speed in for restoration and I need to remove the tank cover which has the lever with 2 pipes going into the gearbox, is just ok to unscrew and remove the whole lot?

Hi Ben,
If you remove the gear selector it must be refitted correctly or you might find that the gear shown might not be the actual one.
I would remove the mounting screws on the cowling and support the selector, once the cowling is removed you could tie the selector to the steering box.
All the best.
PS wish i had a 3000 selecto speed.
