5610 drag link replacement

Hi, as above ^ The rear ball joint is easy to split, but how the heck to split the front one??
Its almost out of sight in the tombstone, i can get a spanner on (15/16") but not much space to lever it.
Even when/if i can remove nut ,how do i split ball joint??
all tips/tricks welcome!!
